Slowing putting it all back together….

So the work is officially DONE! Steve and I can have our lives back! Although, I will miss Matt coming over…he’s a great dude.

That being said, I can’t wait ’til this place is all cleaned up. Everyday we get a little further, but it will take another week at least to get everything. The hardest part about it all is the dreaded storage locker…..bum bum BUM!!

I’ve gotten some stuff out of there: books, linens, old photo stuff. But soon enough comes the boxes of stuff from Steve and Caitlin’s early years…this I am dreading. I am way to sentimental to throw so much of it away, but every time I see those boxes, its like a burden. It was suggested to me years ago, and I have started doing this, to take digital pictures of all those things that make you misty that you never use, and then give them away, or recycle them. I really don’t need all those finger paintings from grade 2, but I remember making them and how much fun it was. At least if I can still see the picture on my computer, I will remember that feeling.

I’ve also bought This Book. Yes, I know it looks like another “I’m going to read this and it’s going to change my life then I will put it away and never think about it again!” self-help book. Truth be told, it rules! It’s practical and just inspires you to get shit done your own way. We still do have to see it I’m still using it in month, though.
